HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED IN A CAR ACCIDENT AND LOST THE USE OF YOUR VEHICLE ?

If so, you may have made a claim for the cost of a hire car. Most insurance companies adopt the position that unless you can prove that there was no other reasonable means of transport and that you had a necessity to hire of motor vehicle in order to earn your income then they are not liable to make reimbursement to you for this cost. This is not the law. If you are deprived of the use of your motor vehicle as a result of an accident caused by another party's fault then you are entitled to the cost of hire of an alternative vehicle. It is in the interest of insurance companies to perpetuate the myth that the vehicle must be necessary for your employment before the insurer would become liable to you. The use to which the vehicle is put is not relevant to your right to make a claim for the cost of a hire vehicle whilst your vehicle is being repaired. YOUR WILL

Appointment of executor. When making their Will most people have no trouble selecting a suitable executor be it their husband, wife, children, a close relative or the like. Some people for various reasons however need to select an executor from outside of this range of people. The partners of Wainwright Ryan are prepared to act as executors on behalf of people in such circumstances. Charges for administration of the estate will be made only on a fee for service basis and, unlike trustee companies, no charge will be made for executors commission which is a percentage of the value of the estate. Charges made on a fee for service basis will often be much less expensive than charges which reflect a percentage of the total value of the estate.
